WISPlink-10: Single Radio Long Range Outdoor Node

WISP link-10: single radio outdoor, long range access point with billing and network management which allows customized log-in pages

The WISPlink-10 product is housed in a lightweight outdoor enclosure that is suitable for mast mounting. The node management software can configure the device in different functional modes:

  • Wireless access point with managed access
  • Wireless to Ethernet bridge (point to point)
  • Single radio half duplex wireless repeater
  • Site survey receiver

The Ethernet port can be configured to connect to an ADSL or cable modem, a network switch or T1 circuit. The product can be deployed in a stand-alone WISP application or can be a component of a global WISP network.

Several options are provided for managed Internet access:

  • Disclaimer page shown when free access is provided
  • Validate an access code obtained from a scratch card
  • On-line credit card billing via PayPal®
  • Payment via subscription service
  • Customized downloadable splash page
  • Downloadable banner advertising with URL click through

The product can be deployed in a stand-alone WISP application or can be a component of a global WISP network.
