Scaling the WISP Network

Businesses that provision wireless Internet services are generally fast growing. The Fire4 WISP/manage software system has the capability of growing with the WISP from startup to a large network of wireless nodes. There is no limit to the size of the network that can be supported by WISP/manage. The WISP can grow from one location to a world wide network of nodes.

The WISP/manage system can be supported on Fire4 servers for a monthly fee initially to minimize cost to the WISP. Fire4 operates a fully redundant server system to host the WISP/manage software for customers. Later as the WISP wishes to take more control over the management of the business the WISP/manage software can be acquired and supported on the WISP's own redundant server system.

The WISP/manage system functionality is constantly evolving. Fire4, however, can provide customization services for WISP customers who wish to include specific features that are unique to the WISP's business model.
